Project Website

Little known to the general public, NASA posts a daily random image taken by one of their satellites. Kaleidoscope transforms this static picture into interactive fragments put into motion to form an ever-changing view.

Started as a poster generator, this web application continues its lively mission of turning passive viewers into participative observers. Similar to its analogue counterpart, Kaleidoscope encourages you to play with predefined elements, generate different symmetrical patterns, and thereby enjoy the feeling of observing Earth through a one-of-a-kind optical instrument.
